We can actually NOW revisit our plans for TSW conquest. They were in stand-by as there was no much point in conquering an empty world.

What about Grand Masters?
The Grand Master Lifetime Option continues to yield all the benefits given to Members and more! As a Grand Master customer you receive everything that Membership customers get, every month, lifelong. In addition to that we have increased the Item Store discount to 20% for everything in the Item Store except Content Packs or other Packs
$250 well spent ... not.

Then again about the only thing that could have made me feel like I got my money out of it (assuming I was even playing, but I don't fault them on that level) would have been free Xpacs.

It is funny though, because by not giving GMs free Xpacs (at -least- the first one) ... and by pissing off alot of GMs by going F2P so badly that I'll refuse to pay Funcom for anything other than possibly playing for a bit with the new AO engine (if it ever happens) ... they're actually making that $250 that GMs paid worth that much more to them as it is essentially free money. At least until their next game. Which I may not even know about and definitely won't pay for.

Ah well, grumpy trox is grumpy. But I still feel bamboozled.

meh, I gave FC a piece of my mind ... buried deep in a forums thread ... that they likely won't ever see.

No worries, I wasn't playing anyway so I am responsible for that part of the loss of value. But doesn't change the fact that FC really messed with their loyal customers on this one.

The plan:

It's not that they don't have plans.... they change too often.

The deal for Grand Masters aside, I think this seems like a good development for TSW. Its a great game imho. AP. seems to be really starting to grow there but we could always use more!!

TBH, with the upcoming merge, I prefer to have as many as possible people in AO but I'm totally in favor of getting new members in AP-TSW. capone had some good ideas about this and he should post (or I will) and we good start working on them. :)
