Hey folks,
So in our regular runs I've been trying to Merle some encounters where possible. The build I am using is chaos/hammer as I've been reading that this may be higher DPS than fist/chaos post 1.7.
The build revolves around the builder -run rampant then consumer 4-horseman and molten steel. Use Passives seal the deal (for 25% more on next consumer), elemental force (auto crit) and then as much +DPS or pen as possible.
My build probably lacks some crit power to be uber and if some ppl have DA that improves DPS a lot.
In crucible it parses for approx 2200 DPS. Depending on molten steel hits. Some for 14k and others for 5k.
Basic principles are to stand BEHIND most mobs. Pol is easy since most only have cleave and not many are effects. Make sure on Pol 5/6 you ask which attacks are being interrupted so you know when to dodge.
But for the sake of diversity come and post here about your builds or tips to stay melee. One day I will try MT on melee!
